Dissemination of the #SWIM – Swim Without Fear Project
The #SWIM – Swim Without Fear initiative, supported by ErasmusPlus, is dedicated to addressing the psychological challenges associated with water fear. This project is particularly significant in countries like Bulgaria and Croatia, where sea tourism is vital, but drowning incidents are unfortunately frequent.
Our comprehensive research provides invaluable insights from both coaches and parents, offering practical strategies to help children overcome their fear of water. The report covers essential topics such as understanding hydrophobia, creating positive water environments, and ensuring water safety. This is an indispensable resource for anyone involved in child swimming education.
In addition to the research report, the “Swim Without Fear” handbook has been widely disseminated to hotels, resorts, parents, and kids. Accompanied by accessible online resources at www.myswim.org, our findings aim to equip families and swimming professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary for nurturing confident future swimmers.
Dive into the #SWIM Research today and join us in making swimming a safe and joyful experience for children. Discover more about this transformative project and follow our journey at www.myswim.org.
