On the 23rd of January 2023, an online meeting was held between the coordinators of projects starting in 2023, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme and representatives of the EACEA. The Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) manages the Union’s funding for education, culture, audiovisual, sport, citizenship and volunteering.

During the meeting, the current highlights in the administration, implementation and reporting of projects in the field of sports, as well as the implementation of the planned activities, were presented. The team of Bulgarian sports development association took part in the meeting in connection with the newly launched initiative #SWIM – Swim Without Fear, which started on January 1, 2023 and is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

#SWIM! – Swim Without Fear project aims to use the link between sport and overcoming the fear of water at an early age in an innovative and different way – by developing a handbook of good practices that will be of benefit to both parents and organizations in the field of swimming. The initiative is going to be implemented in Bulgaria and Croatia as countries rich in water areas.
